             The Team

AMBER RHYNE

As a regular attender of King Street Church in Chambersburg, I am a K-5 dance teacher in Washington County Public School Maryland and reside in Greencaslte, PA. Prior to leaving for South Africa, I will be finishing my Master's in Education with Emphasis in Dance from Wilson College. I am very excited about what God is doing in my life to create servant hands and feel honored that he has opened up an opportunity to travel to South Africa. During this missions trip I am eager to not only experience African culture but also touch the lives of community members and enhance the Thrive Africa mission base with hands-on work and outreach programs. This journey is a life changing experience that I hope will open my eyes to the world around me and give me the opportunity to show God's neverending love.

BONNIE HAND

Education is Bonnie's middle name. She currently is a math teacher at Shippensburg Area High School. Bonnie is currently taking classes at Shippensburg University to earn her masters degree. You may hear Bonnie referred to as coach because she is the head volleyball coach at the high school. Bonnie enjoys selling Premiere Jewelry in her free time.

JEANETTE ROBERTS

Jeanette is currently employed at Orrstown Bank where she is a full time pool teller which means that she works at every branch as a teller. When not working Jeanette loves to play games with her friends and family, make cards, scrapbook, and of course hangout with Trevor.


JENN ROBERTS

I am excited about my opportunity to do ministry in South Africa this summer! I love traveling to new places and meeting new people and so this opportunity to travel to a new continent and teach others about Jesus is so exciting. I am an elementary music teacher at Fountaindale Elementary in Hagerstown, MD. I enjoy teaching my students and sharing with them my passion and love of music. I am a member of King Street church, where I direct the kids’ choir and I’m involved in a small group Bible study. I also enjoy reading, skiing, playing games, and relaxing with friends. I am looking forward to this trip to put my faith into action as I share with the people of South Africa.

JUNE CAMIZZI

June Camizzi is a 29 year old South Jersey native, a deaconess and member of the worship team at the Lighthouse Church C&MA. She is currently the choir director and music teacher at Middle Township Middle School. Serving with Shining Light, a musical performance group, June shared the Word in prisons, hospitals, and churches on the eastern seaboard of the U.S. This will be her first overseas mission trip and she is very excited to see God moving in South Africa.

TREVOR ROBERTS

Trevor is 23 years old and resides in Shippensburg with his beautiful wife, Jeanette. He has two dachshunds, Toban and Duncan. Cross and Crown Productions, Inc. fills his time. Cross and Crown is a Web and Graphic design company that Trevor started with his brother Tyler. Trevor also is the co-owner of C & C Coffee Company, a specialty coffee shop located in Chambersburg, Pa. Trevor enjoys to travel and has been on many trips outside of the US.

TONY GRUVER

Tony lives in Shippensburg, PA. He works as a inspector for Letterkenny Army Depot. While not at work Tony loves to rebuild engines, play soccer, hunt and hang out with friends. This will be Tony's first trip out of the country, he is looking forward to the experience. Tony had the opportunity yo travel to Alaska with work 2 years ago. Tony is a active member of the Journey Young Adult ministry.

TYLER ROBERTS

Tyler Roberts co-owns a web and graphic design company, Cross and Crown Productions, Inc with his brother, Trevor. In addition, he also co-owns C & C Coffee Company. He works full time at King Street Street Church where he serves as the media and production coordinator. Tyler Roberts grew up in Greencastle, Pa where he graduated from Greencastle-Antrim High School in 1999. He went on to attend Lebanon Valley College (Annville, Pa) where he received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a minor in computer science. In 2004, he received his Master’s of Business Administration from Shippensburg, Pa. Tyler and his wife, Jenn, live in Chambersburg, pa. They have a toy fox terrier named Riley. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, technology, and mastering his barista skills.
