Our Mission
Our team has decided to partner with thrive in two different ministry areas.
Relationship Evangelism
This is our primary avenue of outreach. The team will be split into ministry groups of 4-6 people with an interpreter. Each ministry group will get its own area to target each day, visiting people in their homes. Ministry groups typically spend two days visiting each family, building relationships through conversation and helping with household chores. Their approach is that of a “Life Exchange”, a time to learn about the family’s way of life and to share about their own. This has proven to be a very effective ministry tool, opening people’s hearts to the Gospel.
Life Garden Project
One of the objectives of the Life Exchange is to leave each family with a tangible reminder of God’s love and care for them. Each ministry group will be given the tools and resources to plant a vegetable garden for each household they minister to.
Children’s Club
One ministry group each day focuses their ministry on the children (in the afternoon when they are out of school, or all day when the schools are closed for break). The time is spent teaching them the Word of God through songs, stories, games, and other activities. We have a children’s club curriculum prepared for the team to follow.
